2. Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website and to every order placed through our online store.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy and Return Policy also apply where relevant.
Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers under Belgian or European law.
3. Products and product information
Soranagi sells spike mats, also commonly referred to as acupressure mats, and related accessories where displayed on our website.
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. Colours, dimensions, packaging and finishes may differ slightly from the images shown due to screen settings, manufacturing variations or product updates.
Minor differences that do not affect the normal use of the product do not constitute a defect.
Any information about relaxation, comfort, recovery or general wellbeing is provided for general informational purposes only. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness or medical condition and do not replace professional medical advice.
Individual experiences may vary, and we do not guarantee a particular physical or therapeutic result.
4. Safe use
Always read and follow the instructions and warnings supplied with the product.
Start with short sessions and use clothing or a thin layer between your skin and the mat if direct contact feels uncomfortable.
Do not use the mat:
- on open wounds, irritated skin or recent injuries;
- while driving, sleeping or performing an activity requiring attention;
- in a manner contrary to the supplied instructions; or
- if the product is visibly damaged.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you:
- are pregnant;
- have impaired circulation or reduced skin sensitivity;
- have a bleeding disorder;
- use blood-thinning medication;
- have a serious skin condition;
- have recently undergone surgery; or
- are uncertain whether the product is suitable for you.
Stop using the mat if you experience unusual pain, persistent numbness, injury, significant skin irritation or another unexpected reaction.
Our responsibility for defective or unsafe products is not excluded by this section.
5. Orders
Products displayed on our website constitute an invitation to place an order.
Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order information.
After placing an order, you will receive an electronic acknowledgement. The purchase agreement becomes binding when we accept the order or dispatch the products.
We may refuse or cancel an order where:
- the product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- the delivery information is incomplete or incorrect;
- fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected;
- we cannot deliver to the requested location; or
- the website contains an obvious pricing or technical error.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the affected amount will be refunded.
6. Prices and payment
All consumer prices are displayed in euros and include applicable VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges and any additional costs will be displayed before you place the order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Products remain our property until payment has been received in full.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the customer may be responsible for import duties, local taxes and customs charges.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the countries and regions available during checkout.
Estimated delivery times are indicative unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
We will deliver accepted orders without undue delay and normally no later than 30 days after the purchase agreement is concluded, unless another delivery period has been agreed.
You are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address.
For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes when the customer, or a person appointed by the customer, physically receives the parcel.
Please contact us promptly if your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers may withdraw from an eligible online purchase without giving a reason.
Soranagi provides a withdrawal period of 30 calendar days, beginning on the day after the customer or a person appointed by the customer receives the product.
To exercise this right, you must inform us before the 30-day period expires by sending a clear statement to:
Email: [email protected]
Return address: Sint-Jorislaan 127/1, 3540 Schulen, Belgium
After notifying us, the product must be returned within 14 calendar days.
Unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrect, the direct cost of returning the product is paid by the customer.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of shipment.
9. Condition of returned products
You may inspect the mat only to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way you would inspect it in a physical shop.
The product should be returned clean and complete, with all accessories and included items and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging.
You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling or use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
This may include:
- prolonged or repeated use;
- visible wear, stains or damage;
- washing the product unnecessarily;
- strong odours;
- missing accessories; or
- use contrary to the supplied instructions.
The absence of the original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory withdrawal rights.
We do not automatically refuse a return simply because the packaging has been opened or the mat has briefly touched the body. Any legal hygiene exception will only be applied where all legal requirements for that exception are satisfied.
10. Refunds
Following a valid withdrawal, we will refund:
- the purchase price of the returned product; and
- the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.
Additional costs for express or premium delivery will not be refunded.
The refund will be issued within 14 calendar days after receiving your withdrawal notification.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until you provide evidence that it has been returned.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed.
When only part of an order is returned, the original delivery costs will not be refunded if the same delivery costs would have applied to the products you keep.
11. Defective or incorrect products
Consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity.
A product must correspond to its description, possess the promised characteristics and be suitable for its normal intended use.
For new consumer goods, the legal guarantee generally applies for two years from delivery.
If your product is defective, damaged, incomplete or incorrect, contact us at [email protected] and include:
- your order number;
- a description of the problem; and
- photographs or video where reasonably possible.
Where a valid guarantee claim exists, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law. This may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation and refund.
Reasonable return costs relating to a valid guarantee claim will be paid or reimbursed by us.
The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused solely by:
- normal wear and tear;
- improper storage;
- accidents or deliberate damage;
- use contrary to the instructions;
- excessive force;
- unauthorised modifications; or
- use for a purpose for which the product was not intended.
12. Website and intellectual property
The website may only be used for lawful personal purposes.
You may not:
- interfere with the website or its security;
- upload malware or harmful code;
- attempt to obtain unauthorised access;
- submit fraudulent information;
- automatically scrape website data; or
- use our content for unauthorised commercial purposes.
All website content, including photographs, product descriptions, designs, graphics, logos and brand names, is owned by or licensed to Soranagi.
You may not reproduce, publish, sell or commercially use our content without prior written permission.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for defective products, fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence or breaches of mandatory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for damage caused solely by:
- improper or unsafe use;
- failure to follow the supplied instructions or warnings;
- use on an existing injury or unsuitable medical condition;
- unauthorised alteration of the product; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers remain responsible for determining whether the product is appropriate for their personal circumstances and for obtaining professional medical advice where necessary.
14. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, war, governmental restrictions, major transport interruptions, customs delays, power failures, cyberattacks or serious supplier disruptions.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the consequences.
If delivery becomes impossible or is delayed for an unreasonable period, the affected order may be cancelled and the amount paid will be refunded.
15. Complaints
Complaints may be submitted to:
Email: [email protected]
Address: Sint-Jorislaan 127/1, 3540 Schulen, Belgium
Please provide your name, order number and a clear description of the complaint.
We aim to respond within 14 calendar days.
If no solution can be reached, a consumer may contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service:

The use of mediation does not prevent either party from submitting the matter to a competent court.
16. Applicable law
These Terms and all purchase agreements with Soranagi are governed by Belgian law.
Consumers retain any mandatory protections granted by the law of their country of residence.
Disputes will be submitted to the courts competent under applicable law.
17. Changes and validity
The version of these Terms that applies to an order is the version available when the order is placed.
If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
Our failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of our rights.
